WELCOME
Dear all,
It is with great regret I must inform you that Project 8 has been cancelled.
After a little over 2 weeks of the project a call was received off the head coach at Hull FC on Saturday November the 8th requesting that Ewan return to Hull to begin pre-season training.
Hull FC did not feel a formal press release was required but would like to state that the reason given was that the project should have started at an earlier date hence not to clash with pre-season training.
After 4 months of careful preparation and the involvement of dozens of people to make this opportunity possible for Ewan I am obviously very disappointed that a misinterpretation of dates has caused the cancellation of this at such an early stage. This dates back to a meeting that was almost 4 months ago.
On behalf of myself and Ewan I would like to thank all of those involved sincerely as without their participation such an intricate project could not have been possible to begin with.
I would personally like to thank Ewan for commiting 100% (at times far higher) to all that we have done and achieved over the past few weeks. Hopefully in the little time we have had Ewan will return to his club and have an incredibly successful season.
I would also like to thank all of those that have supported the project and all of the kind words we have received over the past few weeks.
Any questions that anyone may have about Project 8 please click the link and I will be more than happy to help.
Kind Regards
Phil Learney
